For Randy Miller, MCR, UDCP, the remodeling industry isn’t just a career—it’s a family legacy built on decades of craftsmanship, education, and community involvement. As a second-generation leader of his family-owned company, Randy continues to guide the business forward while preparing the next generation to do the same.
A Day Rooted in Business and the People
Randy’s days are spent where they matter most: in the field, with his team, and supporting the continued growth of the company. A typical day might include stopping at job sites, meeting with homeowners, checking in at the office, and collaborating closely with staff on marketing and operations. While exterior divisions stay busy with favorable weather, the company’s basement and insulation divisions remain consistent year-round—prompting Randy to continually deepen his education in those areas as well.
That commitment to learning has always been central to the company’s success.
Three Generations Strong
Founded in 1969, the Miller family business has stood the test of time by staying knowledgeable, adaptable, and deeply invested in doing things the right way. Randy believes strongly in ongoing education—both within NARI and beyond—and encourages certifications to ensure expertise, credibility, and trust.
Today, the future of the company is already taking shape. Randy’s son, Jordan, is actively learning the ropes, getting involved, and bringing fresh energy to the business. Passionate about growth and education, Jordan is especially engaged with NARI’s NextGen initiatives, positioning himself to one day become the third generation to lead the company forward.
A Lifelong Commitment to NARI Milwaukee
Randy’s connection to NARI Milwaukee runs deep. His family joined in 1973, recognizing early on the value NARI brings through education, consumer-facing events, and peer-to-peer networking. “There are so many facets of NARI that benefit my company,” Randy says—from professional development and certifications to shows, collaboration, and even the fun that comes with being part of a tight-knit organization.
He especially values NARI’s remodeling-focused community, which creates meaningful conversations among quality contractors who may be competitors but also trusted peers.
One moment that has always stayed with Randy occurred during a NARI Spring Home Improvement Show weekend, when his family was also honoring the life of his uncle—who had been instrumental in introducing the company to NARI. The kindness and support shown by fellow NARI members, from heartfelt messages to quiet gestures of remembrance, made a lasting impact. “It really showed me how strong and supportive this organization is,” Randy reflects.
Leading by Example—and Investing with Intention
Randy’s belief in NARI goes beyond participation. In recent years, he’s chosen to bundle annual sponsorships into one comprehensive package, making it easy to stay involved, visible, and supportive throughout the year without having to worry about individual event sponsorships. It’s a model that reflects both his trust in the organization and his commitment to its long-term success.
His advice to new members is simple: get involved.
“The more connected you are, the more value you’ll get,” Randy says. “The people here are tight-knit, supportive, and invested in helping each other succeed.”
Randy’s long-standing commitment to NARI Milwaukee is a powerful reminder of the value that comes from staying involved—and investing intentionally. By choosing a yearly sponsorship package, he’s able to support NARI’s programs, events, and mission throughout the year while simplifying his planning and budgeting.
Members interested in exploring annual sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to connect with the NARI Milwaukee team to learn how a bundled approach can maximize visibility, engagement, and impact while strengthening the organization that supports our industry.
