Meet Kevin Anundson, (P.E., MCR, MCKBR, CAPS) a seasoned remodeling professional whose day-to-day work blends creativity, precision, and people-first service. As the lead on client projects at Paradise Builders, Kevin guides homeowners from dream to design to reality. A typical day might include meeting clients in their homes to explore potential remodels—whether it's a kitchen refresh, a new garage, or a cozy basement retreat. After understanding the client's goals and budget, Kevin crafts 3D design models, fine-tunes plans until they’re perfect, leads showroom selection tours, coordinates with the build team, and ensures every quote, permit, and detail is in place. The goal? A beautifully executed remodel—and a 5-star Google review every time.
Kevin believes what sets Paradise Builders apart is their deeply invested in-house team. While many firms outsource carpentry, Paradise employs 10 seasoned carpenters, giving them greater control over quality, timelines, and cost. Their three full-time project managers bring exceptional skill and care, and the entire company culture is rooted in respect, collaboration, and a shared drive to exceed expectations. Tools like BuilderTrend give clients full transparency and connection throughout the process, and their long-standing subcontractor relationships ensure a seamless, enjoyable remodeling experience.
As a long-time NARI Milwaukee member, Kevin values the support and camaraderie of fellow members. He compares the experience to a “school of hard knocks” made easier by a network of peers who offer insight, support, and solutions. Whether solving design puzzles or navigating the ever-changing realities of home life during construction, Kevin knows he can call on others in the community for help.
The NARI Certified Professional program was especially transformative for Kevin—it deepened his knowledge, built lasting professional relationships, and opened doors to leadership roles, including the NARI Milwaukee and NARI National Board of Directors. His service on the NARI Ethics Committee taps into his passion for helping others and finding solutions when tensions rise—something that NARI Milwaukee Membership Manger, Cecily Villani, QAS, noted, Kevin views what they do as one of the very best benefits NARI offers and enjoys having a direct impact for what NARI stands for while also learning to become better in their own business.
His advice to new members? Get involved. NARI is like a health club—you only benefit if you show up and do the work. The relationships and resources are there, but it’s up to you to engage and grow. For Kevin, the remodeling industry is more than a career—it’s a calling. And his dedication to quality, ethics, and service proves it.
