This home was like most others in the area – a powder room on the first floor and a full bathroom on the second floor. With their school-age children invading their shared bathroom, it was clear the homeowners needed their own master suite. It was important that to the homeowners to create cohesive, intentional space that didn’t feel like a traditional “addition.” A master suite and larger children’s bathroom were created using space above the first floor. The addition exterior was perfectly matched to the first floor – so well, it almost appears it was intentionally built that way.
